After lessons, students enjoy a vibrant programme of outdoor activities across Abbotsholme’s beautiful 140-acre campus. From our multi-activity carousel - featuring bushcraft, team sports, creative workshops and river-based activities - to horse riding, football, and team-building challenges, there is always something active and engaging to experience in the fresh countryside air.

Evening events bring everyone together for fun and relaxation, with welcome discos, photo challenges, sports sessions, drama and dance, karaoke, quiz nights, campfires, and our much-loved talent show.

Weekends offer the chance to venture further afield and discover some of the UK’s most iconic cultural and adventure destinations. Students explore places such as Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the world-famous Alton Towers theme park. A highlight of the programme is our full-day trip to Liverpool, including a visit to the Beatles Museum, as well as a memorable London weekend, complete with an overnight stay in the capital. These excursions give students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of British culture while having an unforgettable time with new friends.
