As pioneers of outdoor education, Abbotsholme School carries forward the legacy of our founder, Dr. Cecil Reddie, whose vision helped inspire the creation of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

We continue to foster a deep love for outdoor pursuits in our pupils, embracing the natural surroundings of our campus and championing the true essence of outdoor education. 

Outdoor activities are an essential part of our co-curriculum and have always been at the heart of who we are, teaching life lessons that stay with our pupils long after their time at Abbotsholme. These experiences are instrumental in shaping our pupils into true Abbotsholmians.
