Advisory Board

David Brown

David is co-founder and Group President of Oxford International, a company that he established with financial assistance from the Prince’s Trust 30 years ago. As joint CEO and, more recently, Group President he has helped grow the business from start-up to one of the UK’s largest private education groups, working with International students across a range of programmes. He is driven by a passion for International Education and the opportunities it offers to students of all ages from countries all over the world. As well as his work for Oxford International, David is an active investor in several education businesses, with a particular interest in EdTech and Online Delivery. 

Neil Roskilly 

Neil Roskilly has over 40 years' experience in education as a teacher, governor and headteacher. He ran the Independent Schools Association for eleven years (doubling its membership), was a long-standing board member at the Independent Schools Council (ISC), and sat on the National Council of the General Teaching Council for England. Neil advised the Department for Education and HM Treasury on education matters, as well as examinations awarding bodies, parliamentarians and other agencies. His publication credits include book contributions in areas such as school admissions, sport and selection, and for The Times & Daily Telegraph. He is a Fellow of the RGS and the RSA. He is an experienced boarding school governor, trustee of a multi-academy trust, and devotes much of his time to advising schools, parents and acting as a trustee for children's charities.

Lord Jo Johnson 

Jo Johnson is Executive Chairman of FutureLearn, the global digital learning platform. A Member of the Privy Council and of the House of Lords, Jo has served in many Government roles, including as Head of the No10 Downing Street Policy Unit and as Minister of State, attending Cabinet, for Universities, Science and Innovation. He is a Member of the Council and Board Director of the Dyson Institute for Engineering and Technology and a Visiting Professor at King’s College London. Lord Jo Johnson is also a Director of the Access Education Group, the largest independent provider of further education and training for the creative industries.
